How Do You Solve A Problem Like Harry Kane?

Image
So how do we solve this problem of rotating Harry Kane? Relevant points:- Spurs, like most clubs at this time, play more than one kind of tactical system but all involve only one centre forward. The main one we've got happens to be one of  Europe's best. Despite what the player himself says he obviously chases records which is allied to an insatiable appetite for goal scoring. He's the clubs highest paid player and quite rightly so although some fans  believe his contract says that if he wants to play, he plays. This suggestion really came to the fore during the FA Cup tie at Tranmere where he was brought on as a sub with 15 minutes remaining when we were already 6 nil up. The alternatives when Kane is unavailable or consents to being rested:- Given the above this makes recruitment of some genuine competition very difficult. That's without taking into account the clubs wage structure and doubts over how much money is available for new signings.
